One of the places that I love has sadly closed after the death of its founder and owner. The Armed Forces Museum was an extensive facility dedicated to honoring our military from WWI to present day. The only one of its magnitude in Florida, it will surely be missed. I am thankful for the opportunity to have attended several WWII educational events alongside Mr. Cat, my 1st Infantry Division living historian, and several dedicated WWII-era lovers in the Era Girls.
